Warning Against Idleness

by Jym Wells

2 Thessalonians 3:10 (NKJV) 10 For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: If anyone will not work, neither shall he eat. I remember reading a saying from Lao Tzu, the Chinese founder of Taoism, 4th Century BC. “If you give a man a fish you feed him for a day. If you teach a man to fish you feed him for a lifetime.” Today is full of people who think they deserve to have life given to them and it is time that they understand the warning against idleness.

I understand being down I understand a Veteran that is down and out he put his life on the line to protect America and has problems and needs help I understand disability for anyone, been there done that, I do not understand lazy. Paul said it as plain as it can be said if one does not work one does not eat… That sounds harsh however Paul saw this happen in somewhere around A.D. 60 in Rome. Today it is out of hand. They are wanting everything handed to them.

I understand being hurt and can not do it I have been there however some get there and do not wish to get out. Welfare was never meant to be a way of life, there are people living on welfare 2,3,4,5 generations that have been taught the ins and outs and living off others. How is someone who is not a citizen be entitled to anything. We need to take care of America first then when that is fixed then worry about outside. Let us practice and understand Warning Against Idleness.

Memory Verse for December 11, 2015

2 Thessalonians 3:10 (NKJV) 10 For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: If anyone will not work, neither shall he eat.

Thank you for reading and may God bless and be with you and watch over you. And America it is time for us to BLESS GOD again…

Isaiah 46:4 (NKJV) Even to your old age, I am He, And even to gray hairs I will carry you! I have made, and I will bear; Even I will carry, and will deliver you.

Yea we need to take care of our on first! The word says idle hands are the devils play ground, and a lazy person shall go hungry. Helping someone who is in dier need is a good thing if they trying to help their self but is struggling.
