2 Thessalonians 3:6-10 (MEV) 6 Now we command you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you withdraw yourselves from every brother who walks in idleness and not according to the tradition that he received from us. 7 For you know how you should follow us. For we were not idle among you, 8 neither did we eat anyone’s bread without paying for it, but we worked tirelessly and toiled night and day that we might not be a burden to any of you. 9 We did this, not because we did not have that right, but to make ourselves an example for you to follow. 10 For when we were with you, we commanded you that if any will not work, neither shall he eat.

Here we see Paul speaking to the Thessalonians about idleness, doing nothing, just being a part of the body of Christ. I was thinking about it and this came to mind:
Proverbs 18:9
Proverbs 16:27-29
1 Timothy 5:13
Luke 10:2

If one does nothing he does something for the wrong reasons. We are to be doers of the word not hearers only. Again we go back to Matthew 28:18-20 we are to Go, to make Disciples, Baptizing, teaching them to observe all things Jesus has commanded us.

Let us not be idle nor hang around those that chose to be idle…
