Warning Against Rejecting God’s Grace

Warning God will not be mocked Galatians 6:7 (MEV) Be not deceived. God is not mocked. For whatever a man sows, that will he also reap. I think someone needs to question Congress on what is being a Christian for I think someone has it all wrong…

Warning Against Rejecting God’s Grace

Hebrews 12:14-17 (MEV) 14 Pursue peace with all men, and the holiness without which no one will see the Lord, 15 watching diligently so that no one falls short of the grace of God, lest any root of bitterness spring up to cause trouble, and many become defiled by it, 16 lest there be any sexually immoral or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of food sold his birthright. 17 For you know that afterward when he wanted to inherit the blessing, he was rejected. For he found no place for repentance, though he sought it diligently with tears.

Today I wish to concentrate on verse 17 and the warning. We had read about Esau and Jacob and the selling of his birth-rights for some food. Verse 17 is about afterward and the inheritance of the blessing he was rejected. So I am just saying is confessing one thing and living another is the much of the same thing.

Saying one is a Christian then acting like the world one will be denied John 3:19 (MEV) This is the verdict, that light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light because their deeds were evil.

The warning is there will be no place for repentance. I am not judging that is the Lords duty, however, I can use the scripture and say Congress needs some serious repentance going on and I will end with this scripture Ecclesiastes 7:27-29 (MEV) 27 “See, this is what I found,” says the Preacher, “adding one thing to another to find the sum, 28 which my soul still seeks but I do not find: One man among a thousand I have found, but a woman among all these I have not found. 29 See, this only have I found: that God made man upright, but they have sought out many schemes.”

Romans 6:16 (MEV) Do you not know that to whom you yield yourselves as slaves to obey, you are slaves of the one whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness?
