What Can I Do

Colossians 3:13 (NKJV) bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do.
As I read this I thought about what Jesus did for me. I thought about the beating, the lashes, the nails, the suffering. I can not imagine the pain that he suffered, so that we could be saved. When He said these three words, and I do believe they are the most powerful words in the Bible, “It Is Finished” it truly was finished there is absolutely nothing else anyone can do He did it all. So the answer to the question, what can I do to get to heaven is simple, all one has to do is believe [have Faith] and accept it [the Grace]. Yet again I say Romans 10:9-10 (NKJV) 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Matthew 5:17-18 (NIV) 17 “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. 18 For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. He was not born to destroy the law he came to fulfill it for if we go to Isaiah 7:14 (NKJV) Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel [God-With-Us].
It is time that we stop trying to earn our way to heaven. It is finished the ultimate price has been paid there is nothing else we can do all we have to do is ACCEPT what Jesus did for us. We have an enemy, you may say satan [the accuser] or the devil [the slanderer] however I prefer the enemy, that constantly whispers in one’s ear saying “you are not good enough,” “you can not do enough,” “you can not be what God desires you to be.” He is right one is not good enough nor can one do enough in fact none of us are worthy enough according to Romans 3:10 (NKJV) As it is written: “There is none righteous, no, not one;
However God Loves us so much, as we read in John 3:16-17 (NKJV) 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
So all we have to do is believe God and what Jesus did, by faith accept Gods grace Ephesians 2:8 (NKJV) For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God. NOT OF YOURSELVES it is a GIFT from GOD to YOU. It is time that we stop listening to the enemy and start listening to the Holy Spirit and walking and talking and being what God has given us. It is time that we start acting like God kids.
