What is the Perfect Will of God

Galatians 5:19-21 (NKJV) 19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
This has been on my mind for a few days, not sure why and I would like to make it clear that I have no idea why all I know is I felt it is a point that needs to be addressed. After listening to the news lately I really believe it is time to start addressing the Godly and unGodly, do we know what is perfect will of God is. Morals and values are becoming a thing of the past, satan is running wild and Christians are letting it. Youth drugs, drinking alcohol. Sex and the list goes on. The government has taken prayer out of the Classroom, parents really have no control of their youth afraid of having them removed from the home and placed in a home where they are really abused.
These are not things that just started it has been slipping in one small thing at a time. I refuse to use the word teenager because there is no such thing. The Bible addresses this if we read 1 Corinthians 13:11 (NIRV) When I was a child, I talked like a child. I thought like a child. I had the understanding of a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me. The scripture talks about a CHILD and a MAN. In 1950 the word teenager was introduced and accepted basically I take it as when you turn 13 the government or America says OK as a TEENAGER you can be stupid, act stupid, do stupid things and when you turn 20 you are now an ADULT and it is time to become one.
If we look at Jewish and a few other groups when one turns 13 they are treated as YOUNG ADULTS and are taught the ways of ADULTHOOD. I remember when they made the legal drinking age 18 that did not hang on to long, I wonder why. I can remember an uneducated dad teaching me how to respect and keep my word. I was taught to respect my elders. Because of no education there was a lot I was not taught. However I hear the youth today yell at their parents disrespect them do not listen and basically do as they please and through this comes what the devotional is really about.
Adultery is running wild in American, the last report I found, 50% of worldly marriages end in divorce and 51% of quote unquote Christian marriages end in divorce. If we go back and read the opening scripture we can find the problem. We have Christians families [by name only] the only time the Bible is in their hand is when they drop in on a Church service and it might be opened as well. The rest of the time it is a decoration on the coffee table. I have seen it and heard it talked about as if it is OK to commit ADULTERY so we are going to read a few scriptures and see what the Bible has to say about it.
Let us start with Proverbs 6:32 (HCSB) The one who commits adultery lacks sense; whoever does so destroys himself [ones soul]. Again we see in Ephesians 5:5 (HCSB) For know and recognize this: Every sexually immoral or impure or greedy person, who is an idolater, does not have an inheritance in the kingdom of the Messiah and of God. Now I do know and understand if one REPENTS, turns away from the sin and does it no more and asks for forgiveness will be forgiven. I am saying this to anyone that feels it is OK and does it and does not REPENT. Let’s look at these scriptures as well Colossians 3:5-7 (NKJV) 5 Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. 6 Because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience, 7 in which you yourselves once walked when you lived in them.
I feel that these scriptures have addressed something that is out of control here in America I do say America for that is where I live and have not looked for figures for other countries. We as Christians need to start calling SIN what it is for we can cover it up to one another however it is not hidden from God. We need to be a light in a dark world we need to return to MORALS and VALUES and cleave to our mates and become one as we are instructed. I would like to close with this scripture Romans 12:2 (NKJV) And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
