1 John 2:15-16 (MEV) 15 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father, but is of the world.

I have or should say I am learning that my Father supplies all of my needs. Did not say all of my WANTS I did say NEEDS…

Wants

I looked up the definition of the word want and I actually think the world has confused the words want and need. I was taught that a want was the wishing for something. Like a more expensive car or a bigger home or more money to buy them with. That is not a need…

When I looked it up in a dictionary it said see need. And then some definitions of wants that I did not think true.

Need…

Something that one should have such as food, shelter, clothing. Those are necessities. Yes we want them but they are needs not just mire desires…

John Tell Us

Do not love the world or the things of the world.

We Can Not

Love the things of this world and love our God also.

These Things Are Not Of The Father

The lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life.

So let us look for and pray for the NEEDS of this life and not the WANTS of this life.
