Here we are it’s Sunday and we will be watching on TV. Well at least we can see it,but it’s not the same and being there and being with our friends. So my devotional will be late today. I think I am going to make some angry over what I am about to say but it needs to be said. I think I know how men think for I am one.
Men and Woman are in church is the topic today starting with 1 Timothy 2:8-10 (NKJV) 8 I desire therefore that the men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting; 9 in like manner also, that the women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with propriety and [a]moderation, not with braided hair or gold or pearls or costly clothing, 10 but, which is proper for women professing godliness, with good works.

Our church is a small church and everybody knows everybody. The Pastor knows every member and when he speaks to you he does it by name. I believe when a church is so big that the Pastor does not know every person by name it is to big…
Our topic today is men and woman in church, let us start with verse 1 Timothy 8 I believe that most men are afraid to pray at work or in public. Even when it is serious will you stop and pray. How many of you would stop and get out of your car and pray for someone you have never seen or know? Men it is our job to pray and again I am talking about in church . 9 Women in like manner women adorn themselves in modest apparel. l, with propriety and [a]moderation, not with braided hair or gold or pearls or costly clothing, 10 but, which is proper for women professing godliness, with good works. I have a video of a young man talking about having to walk from classes with his head down or praying or both, and that is in a Bible College.
I am sure that I am going to anger some and I will say it now I am not talking to anyone or using anyone. I am saying what I see and hear in church. The world thinks everything should be skin tight and as short as it can be. The high heels are getting higher and higher. The slits in the dresses are getting higher.
Does all of this make one look beater? If you are in this world yes it does if you are a Christian the answer is NO! I am now talking to men, mainly to married me. You need to go shopping with your daughter and help her pick out things that make her look beautiful and not advertising. Wives you are the same this scripture is speaking to.
I am a man and I think I know how men think. Once saved we work at turning away from the things of the Lord. Look and then ask for forgiveness that is what we end up doing. Some times it is hard to go shopping in Walmart or Target or a lot more stores. It seems like the enemy has a hold on some that is out to get Christians and it is working and I hope this message gets the truth out.
A woman or young lady can look good with God in there hearts and asking Him what one should wear. The sad thing is what is happening to Christian men in Church. It not take a skimpy dress are makeup to make one beautiful for that is skin deep and will die, but a modest lady serving God is the most beautiful lady I have ever seen.
