How they gathered everything except the sacrifice and Issac ask his dad where is the sacrifice, and Abraham’s answer was great; Genesis 22:8 (NKJV) And Abraham said, “My son, God will provide for Himself the lamb for a burnt offering.” So the two of them went together.

James 2:14-17 (NKJV) 14 What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? 15 If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, 16 and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? 17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.

James says that faith by itself is dead– what does that mean that we have all this work that we have to do? No I believe he is saying how could anyone be Born Again and sit and do nothing. How can anyone say they love God or Jesus Christ and not want to tell others about Him.

When you meet the right one do you not tell your friends about them. Do you not share about them or are you ashamed of them and say nothing or when one goes out do you go to places where you will not be seen with said person. Well that is what James is saying how do you love God and not tell anyone are you ashamed of your Salvation?
