Abraham was tested and passed with flying colors… How many of us would give up something, not someone, a thing? Would we be willing to give up say that new car you just purchased? If the Holy Spirit said to you, “Go to that building where you go to worship me and give that new car to that person who sits on the back row, the one that does not dress up, in fact, wears rages every Sunday for he has nothing. Give that new car to him. Would you do it?

Hebrews 11:17-19 (MEV) 17 By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac, and he who had received the promises offered up his only begotten son. 18 Of him, God said, “Through Isaac shall your seed be named.” 19 He reasoned that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead, from which he indeed received him in a figurative sense.

Sometimes our faith is tested the same way. Through the loss of a loved one through an illness, or just time to go. Maybe a fire or a tornado comes through and destroys that new home or the one we have had for years. The one that you grew up in and it was left to you. A test of our faith can come at any time and it will.

How we deal with a loss of anything is a test of our faith. How we deal with it is a test of our faith. The loss of anything or anyone is a test of our faith. Will we give it up and trust our Father. Will we do it without thinking or wondering or even hoping. Will we hand it over to our Father? Think about it do we really believe in Galatians 2:20 it is not me that lives here it is Jesus living through me…
