Romans 12:19-20 (NKJV) 19 Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. 20 Therefore “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; If he is thirsty, give him a drink; For in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head.”

It is our place to be the example of our Lord and His love for all of us… If someone is angry at you. They can not deal with you not being angry back. They try to stay mad, however it does not work. Have you ever tried to be angry at someone and they will not return the anger?

This is a spot where our Lord and shine and show through. I love verse 20 do good to them and it is like heaping coals of fire on their head. Return evil with good. It is not easy, most of the time, because it is our nature to have the upper hand or what we think is the upper hand. Our Father can fix it and it is worse than we could ever try to do.

Today I pray that we do what we can to allow our Lord and Savior to shine through. For what ever we do, go or bad, is a reflection on our Lord and our beliefs. So I pray that we allow the Holy Spirit to guide and show us the way in Jesus Christ’s wonderful name I pray this all—AMEN!!
