Beware of the enemy! He is here and he has slipped into our midst. When money became the motivator in some ministries, God has been put in the back seat and some are now trying to drive.

As we read in the book of Colossians we see the church at Colossae was under attack from false teachers. Who was attacking the character and the deity of Jesus

Colossians 2:8 (MEV) Beware lest anyone captivate you through philosophy and vain deceit, in the tradition of men and the elementary principles of the world, and not after Christ.

We read daily about thing “some so called Preachers, Pastors, Ministers of the the Word. They are believing lies of the enemy and falling away from the truth. This is why I believe the way I believe.

I Will Stand With Paul As He Speaks In Colossians.

Beware and do not become captivated through philosophy and vain deceit.

What Does That Mean

I think it is about taking scripture out of context and turning it into a lie.

Some Have Fallen Under A Spell

By believing lies and traditions of the world and not following after Christ.

Remembering John 10:10

The thief does not come, except to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

Colossians 2:9-10 (MEV) 9 For in Him lives all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. 10 And you are complete in Him, who is the head of all authority and power.
