The Bible Do We Believe In God the Father

The Bible shows everyone everything we need to know and understand. We are under His covering once we have accepted Him as our Lord and Savior.

The Bible Do We Believe In God the Father

The Bible was written by those who were under the inspiration of God I believe that God used the personalities and characteristics of each biblical author to bring forth His word.

2 Peter 1:16-21 (NKJV) 16 For we did not follow cunningly devised fables when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of His majesty. 17 For He received from God the Father honor and glory when such a voice came to Him from the Excellent Glory: “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” 18 And we heard this voice which came from heaven when we were with Him on the holy mountain.

19 And so we have the prophetic word confirmed,[Or We also have the more sure prophetic word.] which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts; 20 knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation,[Or origin] 21 for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of [NU-Text reads but men spoke from God.] spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 (NKJV) 16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
There are people that will argue the Bible they wish to believe in something else well that is a choice and what I say to them is I do not argue over the Bible if one wishes to discuss the Bible or what they believe I will discuss it with them, however, arguing does nothing, it only gets us all upset.
This is where this verse fits in perfectly 2 Timothy 2:14-16 (NKJV) 14 Remind them of these things, charging them before the Lord not to strive about words to no profit, to the ruin of the hearers. 15 Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 16 But shun profane and idle babbling, for they will increase to more ungodliness. I hope this will help with what you believe and how to know what one believes and to discuss it.
