Bibles we read and use different versions and we are told to test or check what is told to us and we should keep what is good and get rid of what is bad or false. So I have been doing this for, going on 4 years, here on Facebook. Spending hours reading and checking things in different Bibles and I have heard, read or been told. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-21 (NKJV) 16 Rejoice always, 17 pray without ceasing, 18 in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
19 Do not quench the Spirit. 20 Do not despise prophecies. 21 Test all things; hold fast what is good.

2 Peter 1:21 (MEV) For no prophecy at any time was produced by the will of man, but holy men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God

2 Peter 1:21 (ESV) For no prophecy was ever produced by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.

2 Peter 1:21 (KJV) For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

2 Peter 1:21 (NKJV) for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God[a] spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.

2 Peter 1:21 (NIV) For prophecy never had its origin in the human will, but prophets, though human, spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.

2 Peter 1:21 (CJB) for never has a prophecy come as a result of human willing — on the contrary, people moved by the Ruach Handshake spoke a message from God.

This is the same verse from 6 different Bibles… I have many translations and I use different ones and compare them before using them. I have been to many churches and have heard many different versions of the Bible used.

Am not going to tell anyone what version to read or use. That is not my job nor duty I am here to help others grow in our Lord and become stronger in their walk and belief. I do not think I have missed one argument or discussion of what version to use. So, I feel we are able to decide what version of all the different Bibles we chose to read or use. My only desire is that we are reading, studying, using and growing in the words of our Lord.
