Book Of Matthew The Starting Place

Book of Matthew is the starting place for this and Matthew 28:18-20 (MEV) 18 Then Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

OK, here we are again. I think I have spent more time on these 3 verses than any in the bible. Looking at some of the words and that is what the Devotional is about.

The First First

Are the starting words from Jesus “All authority” not some, not a few, but ALL authority has been given Him.

The Second Word

“Go” This not a suggestion, this is out of our Lord and Savior’s own mouth Go and what?

The Third Word

We are told to make “DISCIPLES” not win there souls we read in verse 20.

The Forth Words

“TEACHING THEM” to what “OBSERVE ALL THINGS”

The Fifth Words

“COMMANDED” What did he command us to do?

This is actually a long list of 49. 43 found in the Gospel of Matthew. 3 in the Gospel of Luke, and 3 in the Gospel of John. Yes I posted them here. One might find more these are just what was found at this time…
