Philippians 2:9-11 (NIV) 9 Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
This is the most powerful message in the Bible if one will think about it. There is NOT ONE name even equal with it much less above it. At the very mention of His name enemies flee, sickness will leave, demon run even old what’s his name trembles. And the best part of it is He is our Brother.
How can you say that one might say? Well according to John 3:16-17 (NKJV) 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. His son and we are gods children adopted into the family. Galatians 3:26-27 (NIV) 26 So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, 27 for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. Thus our Brother and a powerful brother we have.
Look what he did for us. In Isaiah 53:4-5 (NIV) 4 Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. 5 But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wound’s we are healed. He did that all so that we could spend eternity in Heaven with Him and our Father.
I don’t know about you that makes me want to jump and shout. In The Name of Jesus is calling our BIG Brother when something comes at us. He did all of that for us because we were loved before we were even born. So the next time one of us feels we are alone, going through whatever, just remember what Jesus did for you and I think you will feel much better and understand that we are winners through Jesus Christ…
