*You call me the way,
John 14:6
Jesus said unto him, ” I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes unto the Father, but by Me. (That means you shouldn’t be praying to Mary, St. Peter, St. Paul and so forth)
* But you do not follow Me,
John 12:26
” If any man serve Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there shall also My servant be: If any man serves Me, him will My Father honor.
* You call Me the light,
Matthew 5:14-16
” you are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid. 15 neither do men light a candle, and put it under a basket, but on a candlestick: and it gives light unto all that are in the house. 16 let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”
* But you do not see Me.
John 3:36
He that believes in the Son has everlasting life. And he that believes not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abides on him.”
* You call me the teacher,
Deuteronomy 11:18-19

* but you do not listen to Me,
Jeremiah 12:17
” but if they will not listen, then I will uproot that Nation, uproot and destroy it,” declares the LORD.
* You call Me the Lord,
Psalms 33:12
Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people whom He has chosen for His own inheritance.”
* but you do not serve Me.
Deuteronomy 10: 12,13
And now, Israel, what does the Lord thy God require of thee, but to fear the Lord thy God, to walk in all His ways, and love Him, and to serve the Lord thy God, with all your heart and with all your soul, 13 to keep the Commandments of the Lord, and His statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good?
* you call Me the truth,
Psalms 119:142
“Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and Thy law is the truth.”
* but you do not serve Me.
John 5:44
” how can you believe, which receive honor of one of another, and seek not the honor that comes from God only?”
* do not be surprised if one day I do not know you!
Matthew 7:21-23
” not everyone that says unto Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven, but he that does the will of My Father which is in heaven. 22 many will say to Me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Thy name? And in Thy name have cast out demons? And in Thy name done many wondrous Works? 23 and then will I profess unto them, I never knew you depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”
