Choices –We Are Faced With Them Daily

Choices — we are faced with them daily, every day of our life we will be and do have choices. I do believe the biggest one is found in Joshua 24:15 (NKJV) And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” The choice is God or the enemy satan, that is it there it is. After that is it is all believing and doing.

We are faced with many choices everyday and they all come down to that one statement, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, for every choice there is a master be it God or be it the enemy satan. We know he is out to steal, kill and destroy as we read in John 10:10 (NKJV) The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. The same choices the enemy or Jesus. The enemy the defeated one is out to take our life, our peace, our joy or happiness, our finances and our spirit. He knows he can not steal us from our Lord as we read in Romans 8:38-39 (NKJV) 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

He can not steal us from our Lord however he can try to drag us down to the point we will not do anything for our Lord he will lie to us. I remember a fellow Christian who came to me one Sunday and told me that God had given up on him. I asked him why and he said that he had gone out and got drunk the night before. So I asked him who told him that, he said when he woke up that morning that he heard a voice say “God is done with you, you are a looser and he gives up.” I asked him did the enemy ever tell you that you where going to hell before you got saved, he stood there for a minute and said no. Well he is a lair and the father of it so if he is telling you that then God is still on your side. I hope he learns that for he is now in prison for drinking, and again choices well decide.
