Cleaning House, I heard a message last night that hit home. I have said for years that I think the alter should be full before the church service starts. How many can say that they did not sin on the drive to church. Not necessarily a big one but one just the sane, or before getting ready to go.

We are not perfect and we know it however have you ever just sat down and read some Psalms of David. If anyone knew how to communicate with our Father David did. No! He was not perfect he messed up time after time but he also knew how to repent, and get in God’s good graces…

We hear about and desire a Revival were does it start. With one person have we cleaned the house, stop watching that garbage on TV. Stop with the anger fits, and on and on. How many wives get bent out of shape because the husband does something that yo do not like or the Husband who gets angry because wife wishes something done and it has been 3 months now.

For Revival to start we ALL need to clean house. Including the church staff. The bigger the chuch the bigger the staff. Does the Pastor really know the staff, is the Pastor’s life showing a revival. That is what I am saying. We ALL need to clean house.

I think we could start with this verse 2 Chronicles 7:13-14 (NKJV) 13 When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or command the locusts to devour the land, or send pestilence among My people, 14 if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

Folks where are we RIGHT NOW. What is going on, people are afraid to go anywhere for they might get sick or even die. Well we could get sick and die setting at home watching television. I also heard this a couple weeks ago. TEL-E-VISION. We need to start believing in our Father and I am not talking about on Sunday or Sunday and Wednesday, I am talking all the time.

Here is a VISION James 4:8 (NKJV) Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Let us clean our closets and get rid of all the junk in our homes and even in the church.

Acts 3:19-21 (NKJV) 19 Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, 20 and that He may send [a]Jesus Christ, who was [b]preached to you before, 21 whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since [c]the world began.

Footnotes

a. Acts 3:20 NU, M Christ Jesus b. Acts 3:20 NU, M ordained for you before c. Acts 3:21 Or time

Let us get busy and learn scripture and do as we are told and let us see REVIVAL in churchs around the world. Let us see the movement of our Lord and Savior. There is nothing or no one to fear but our Lord and Savior. 3 questions to end with today:

  1. Fear God
  2. Keep His Commandments
  3. And Pray for Revival

We are His children, we are to do what we are told and the scripture is there for us to read, understand, and believe. I believe if we do this there will be a REVIVAL like never before. Then the enemy will flee from us, and I pray this all in the name of Jesus our Lord and Savior—AMEN!

Thank you for reading and may God bless and be with you and watch over you. And let us understand, it is time for us to BLESS GOD…  This Ministry is supported with and by your love offerings, please consider helping us to spread the Gospel around the world.

Dead to Sin, Alive to God : Romans 6:1-3 (NKJV) 1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? 2 Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it? 3 Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?
