Jesus is the Light of the World

This Articlel is about dealing with life. What I am saying is what happens if the one you desired to win the election does not win? Are you going to still be a Christian, if you are a Christian. If one is not a Christian I hope you read this and understand and desire to be a Christian.

We are going to use a different story to get the point across we are going to look at John 8:1-11 (NKJV) It is about the scribes and Pharisees try to discredit Jesus.

Sometimes I see things different than some Pastors or other Christians and in this case I did. The scribes and Pharisees thought they were going to catch Him with the Law and what Moses said. John 8:5 (NKJV) “Now [in our law Moses commanded]Moses, in the law, commanded us [to stone such]that such should be stoned. But what do You [adds about her]say?”

They were going to try and trap Jesus according to John 8:6 (NKJV) This they said, testing Him, that they might have something of which to accuse Him. But Jesus stooped down and wrote on the ground with His finger, as though He did not hear.

Now this is when my mind went into high gear and took off… What was Jesus writing on the ground?

How about one of the scribes or Pharisees name and then Mary 7842 Maple Lane, and one of them left. Then another name and Susan 24569 Bethlehem Ave and again another hit the door. On and on it went till no one was left.

Then we read in verses 10-11 John 8:10-11 (NKJV) 10 When Jesus had raised Himself up and saw no one but the woman, He said to her, “Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?”

11 She said, “No one, Lord.”

And Jesus said to her, “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.”

Again my mind sees something else this woman never asked to be saved, but Jesus did any why for He said go and sin no more if you look at what was written she called Him Lord. She had to see what he wrote in the floor and figured out who He was from it. Just my thoughts about it.

I feel that is where we need to be as Christians with no matter who wins the election. Our rights could be lost if the wrong one wins. Will we still worship our Lord, will we still claim to be a Christian, will we still read the Bible and pray? Those are questions that we all need to think about.

My answer is YES period. In fact if the wrong one wins I am going to buy a pair of bolt cutters to cut the lock off of the church door so we can go in and do what we do period…
