Darkness to Light

Here Paul Recounts His Conversion and what Jesus said Acts 26:17-18 (NKJV) 17 I will deliver you from the Jewish people, as well as from the Gentiles, to whom I now send you, 18 to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.’ Those 3 words are so strong “from darkness to light” that is our calling.
Paul was sent to do what? To OPEN THEIR EYES, TURN THEM FOR DARKNESS TO LIGHT, FROM THE POWER OF SATAN, TO RECEIVE FORGIVENESS, AND INHERITANCE BY FAITH.
Verse 18 is a very very powerful verse if you look at what Jesus said to Paul I feel He is saying to all of us. We are here for a reason and is stated here “To deliver them from darkness to light.” We are here for that purpose every Christian that is living and breathing we are to be that light to deliver others from darkness to light. We are here to pray for and be a witness to the love of our Lord and to help and guide others as well.

Jym If Gods people were the Jewish, his chosen why did he want to have anything to do with us?? or is it the Israelite’s his chosen people, You know where it says the woman came to the well and Jesus was there she was a Samaritan and why not them two?? I know that whosoever is all of us but when he decided to add us why would he??
Well first off when they were His chosen they were under the law. Romans 10:12 (NKJV) 12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. That is why Jesus came it also says in Galatians 2:14-16 (NKJV) 14 But when I saw that they were not straightforward about the truth of the gospel, I said to Peter before them all, “If you, being a Jew, live in the manner of Gentiles and not as the Jews, why do you[a] compel Gentiles to live as Jews?[b] 15 We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles, 16 knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified.
Jesus dying on the cross made us all equal. Gina the purpose was for Jesus complete the law and now we are saved by grace the law is dead and gone. Yes God loves the Jews however no one can live by the law no one is able to abide by the 10 Commandments. Jesus came to set the captives free. When he died on the cross he took the old you with him by you Jew or Gentile Galatians 2:20-21 (NKJV) 20 I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. 21 I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain.” If this does not answer the question let me know
OK I UNDERSTAND I FORGOT THAT WAS OLD TEST. AND NOW WE ARE NOT UNDERSTAND!! THE LAW AND JESUS CAME FOR ALL AND A NEW CONVENT.
