The Truth Will Set You Free

Hebrews 2:1 {NIV) 1 We must pay the most careful attention, therefore, to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away. Here we are warned to pay attention and Study the NJKV says take heed which means to pay attention to, listen to and consider. Why should we do this, why should we read and study? So we know the truth as we have read in John 8:32 (NIV) Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
Becoming a Christian and not studying the Bible and going to Church and learning is like a Physician going to college and not attending then opening an office and taking care of the sick. Can not be done for long. We are children of the Most High King and He is our teacher and the Bible is our text-book. What we go through and how we deal with it is our test. If we do not pass the test guess what we take it again and again and even again until we get it right. Then we move on to the next test and if we have read and studied then we are prepared for this test and we take it and move on.
Lord I pray that we all grasp what is said here and us it build a strong kingdom in Jesus name I pray– AMEN.

Ant it so good to be set free??? ~Peace!!~I love being free!!~If the son sets you free you are free indeed!!~This reminds me of something along time ago I smoked and I wanted to quit, and so I ask the Lord to give me strength to quit. Well some time went be and I said Lord I ask you to give me strength, and he said I have already gave you the strength you just haven’t let go of them, he said the spirit is willing but the flesh is not. I thought about it and being a you Christian I didn’t realize he knew what I was thinking and I was thinking when??~ I heard him say why wait til tomorrow why not now. Of course I was like how did he know what I was thinking?? ~ So I said ok I do it now. I said would please heal anyplace in my body that may have done damage, and dont me think about them or get anxious and grouchy. So I was happy to be free from them things, and I didn’t know you were a slave to what your flesh wants to do. I found out in Romans 8 :12 So I learned that I didn’t have to smoke, among other things that I didn’t have to. I could say no!! ~ Well this part was funny to me I wasn’t quite educated yet about him knowing everything because my carnal mind didn’t realize he knew us through our hearts. So I said I’m hungry and immanently he said go eat some cereal!!` I was like what?? He wasn’t just listening, he knew me in my heart. Of course I finally learned that!!~ I hadn’t been saved long. But I was learning fast!!~This was strange but I finally figured it out while I set and soaked up my bible like a sponge, I would get up and go in the kitchen, and stand there a minute and go back and start ready reading again I did this on and off. during that time I would suck up a big breath and let it out on and on off also. Well going in the kitchen was a habit that’s where I smoked. And that deep breath it and out that came over me was my body was killing that fleshly urge, so I didn’t get all mean or get anxious didn’t think about it. That was so freeing . I realized later that I didn’t have to smoke just because my flesh wanted to!! And it feels good to be free!! I had no obligations whatever to your old sinful nature to do what it begs you to do!! I was free!! Woo Hoo!! I got freed from some other stuff to Praise the Lord!!` This is good Jym!! I loved it!!
