Delight Oneself In The Lord, Do We?

Delight oneself in the Lord do we actually do that? Or are they just words that sound good at the time? Let’s take a look at what that means… Psalm 37:4 (MEV) Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.

Today if Jesus returns or not in my life time, I am one day closer to meeting Him. We pray for the healing that Jesus died for. Have we ever thought about what He went through so we could go to Heaven and be with Him? When he said “It is finished” relief from all the pain was gone has he hung his head and died.

Sometimes death is the healing that we pray for but we do not want that. Is the pain or suffering of a loved one more important to us than giving them some peace. I do understand if they are not saved hoping they accept and go to heaven. What we have to remember is that it is their choice and they are the only ones that can make that choice.

I know this is not a subject that any of us wish to talk about however it is something that needs to be talked about. I feel sometimes people are just selfish when they keep someone in pain alive with a machine. If there is no hope for them why not let them go.

If there is a chance that one could need strength to go through and operation then OK or if a strong possibility that one could recover I would say OK, but out of selfish reasons, and there is a lot of them it is time to let go. If our Father desires them to continue He will make that decision.

We pray Lord manifest the healing of (who ever) and He answers back I need to take them Home to do that. Would you have to think about it or would you answer with a yes Father? I believe sometimes death is the only answer. I also believe if there is a job that needs to be done by said person they are not going no matter what the Dr says. For my Lord is the Great Physician…

I know this is not a great subject however I felt very strong it was one that needed answering… Let me close with the opening verse . The Memory Verse for September 18, 2019 Psalm 37:4 (MEV) Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.
