Learning to be gentle, I know today’s scripture starts with therefore so let us look back an see what it is really there fore. Reading verses 1-11 about 7 different things ran through my mind as I read. The one that really hit me was verse 6. Matthew 7:6 (MEV) “Do not give what is holy to the dogs, nor throw your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet and turn around and attack you.

Today’s Devotional is about Matthew 7:12 (MEV) Therefore, everything you would like men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.

This is a lesson sometimes learned the hard way. I have learned talking to the lost it needs to be kept simple. Getting to deep is exactly like throwing pearls at swine. They want something they can eat and humans need something they can understand. We need to learn about this or find it out the hard way like I had to.

We need to let our Father show through our actions and our grace. Arguing with a sinner is useless for they will drag you down in the gutter with them. And then smile and walk away considering themselves winners.

Showing a sinner how much one knows is like talking Greek to one that does not understand Greek. They have no idea what one is talking about and in turn gets angry because they do not understand…

The hardest thing is to love ones enemy and we might not think of an unsaved person our enemy, but watch out when you start talking about Jesus they start looking for sometime to attack you with. And it can happen at anytime and any place.

They not only need to hear about Jesus they need to see His compassion and love in us as we present Him to them. Learning to be patent is something we need to learn we may only be the one planting the seed or even watering. We need to do all with the love of our Lord. For our Father is the one that gets the harvest.

So let us try loving the lost into heaven. We will not beat them into submission, that will just run them off or cause it to take longer for someone to win them if at all… What does Matthew 10:16 mean to be wise as serpents and harmless as doves?

Jesus said to them, Matthew 10:16 (MEV) “Look, I am sending you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves. The NIV says, “shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves.”

So when we are talking to the unsaved let us all remember this… Thank you for reading and may God bless and be with you and watch over you. And let us understand, it is time for us to BLESS GOD… This Ministry is supported with and by your love offerings, please consider helping us to spread the Gospel around the world.
