Devotional May 26, 2022 “God’s Everlasting Love”

by Shepherd Jym Wells

It has been a long dry spell and I think it is time. It is 6:15 AM and I have been awake for an hour. So I think the Lord is telling me something here…

Romans 8:31 (NKJV) What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

Well here I am and reading this verse assures me that I am here doing what I am called to do. The enemy has tried to put me down and shut me up, however, God has work for me to do and it is time to do it. No more sickness, no more pain, no more I can not remember, that is all gone for My Father is in control and He says so…

The Lord is here and I need to start listening, the dry spell is over and spring is full and I am here. The Lord is good and He will take care of and watch over us, but we must listen. Listening I turned to 1 Kings 19 This is the story of Elijah escaping from Jezebel reading I came to verse 12 and after the earthquake a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire and after the fire a still small voice. ( a delicate whispering voice ), and reading on 1 Kings 19:13 (NKJV) So it was, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle and went out and stood in the entrance of the cave. Suddenly a voice came to him, and said, “What are you doing here, Elijah?”

Now He has my attention, “What am I doing” and I did not have an answer except “not listening”, so then it was like a wake-up call. It is time to get busy and do what I am called to do, so here I am.

It is time, the day before yesterday a young man shot and killed 21 people in a school in Texas. For some reason, he was mad at his grandmother and he had to kill 21 others and die himself, makes no sense to me at all. There are now parents with their children gone he is gone for what?

The enemy is trying to discourage us and he is pulling out all stops I do believe. It is time for some witnesses to come out and let others know about Jesus and His saving grace. The attacks are real and we, as Christians, have a job to do, tell others about God’s EVERLASTING LOVE. One big excuse is I can not talk to others about Jesus, then invite them to Church we all can do that. Find someone to take to Church.

Memory Verse May 26, 2022

Luke 10:19 (NKJV) Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
