ALMs Devotional

Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.

Everyone not some or a chosen few, everyone who will call upon the Lord will be saved. Now one has to believe it and follow it. One can not call upon the Lord then go on doing what they always did before…

Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.

Revelation 20:15 (NIRV) Anyone whose name was not written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.

Well in the end the truth will come out. The fighting about there is a God and there is not a God will come to an end. I have heard and listened to all the crazy ideas of who and what happens once you die. I see in the book of Revelations it is all spelled out for anyone that wishes read it.  How about everyone whose name is not found written in the book of life IS cast into the lake of fire…  For that is the truth believe it or not.

What I have found it the Bible is very simple and easy to understand, for the most part. Those that wish to argue or debate it are the ones that do not believe or have tons of head knowledge and the door to their heart is locked. They can come up with all this deep dark mumble jumble however can not explain away:
Romans 10:9-10 (NIRV) 9 Say with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord.” Believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead. Then you will be saved. 10 With your heart you believe and are made right with God. With your mouth you say what you believe. And so you are saved.  Everyone that does it can be saved again not some, all, everone…
Or
Romans 10:13 (NIRV) Scripture says, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

That is to simple it has to be harder and more complicated to get into Heaven. Then humans take over and get into deep theological mumble jumble. One must do this and that for this to happen one must go through this or that. There is a difference between complicated and hard. For there are hard things to do in the Bible [for sure if one is not saved] like forgiving your enemy. I saw a court room video of a gentleman in tears, that had lost his daughter to a rapist. The man was sentenced to life in prison without the chance of parole. This gentleman with tears running down his face said “I forgive you for what you have done to my daughter because my God says that I should.” This hardened criminal turned and look at the man with tears in his eyes and that was the emotion of any kind he had shown through the whole trial. That is God at work.

We as Christians need to wake up and realize that Loving God is not hard being a Christian is not hard some of the things we are asked to do can be. However the end results is fantastic if only we believe. I will end today Devotional with this poem and I pray that we all grow in the Love of our Lord and Savior…

If Only We Believe

Life is but a journey, with lessons to be learned.
Heaven is our destiny, with rewards that we have earned.
The blessings here on earth, of which we all receive,
are but small examples of what s in store for us —
if only we believe.

When things don’t go the way we think they should
and to make things better — we only wish we could.
Or we try to change those things like little elves,
but the only ones we re fooling is ourselves.
The more we try to get things to go the way we want them to,
the farther away we get from what God wants us to do.
It s not so hard to do only good,
it’s the believing that we’ve misunderstood.

To do things that are right, just and pure,
when we believe, of that we can be sure.
Like kids who rebel and fight to be free,
free from their parents — easy enough to see.
To live their own life and do what they want,
to find their own way, the began the great hunt.
Only then, will they be happy! — of this they believed,
but when they achieved it, they had all been deceived.

They thought they would find it in achievements and big shiny rings,
but they were always looking in all the wrong things.
While in their great struggle to find and achieve,
They learned how to lie, to cheat and deceive.
For true happiness they searched, but none could they find.
For it was only in the loving arms that they had left behind.
Like parents to their children — God’s love is always there.
Just ask for forgiveness and you ll lose that great cross that you bare.

As kids toward their parents — We looked at God just the same,
when we finally realized — we took on great shame.
With suffering and great sorrow, we knew we were lost.
We had taken the wrong road and paid a great cost.
Our trouble was in believing in our own minds, instead of God.

Thinking we could do it all, down the road we then trod.
To fill that painful emptiness deep down within our soul,
God is the only one that can refill that empty hole.
When we truly believe in God’s unconditional love,
Goodness will come from us, like songs from a dove.
To get back on the right road is too hard — as we perceived,
But it is truly easy — If only we believe.
