Prayer and Believing, Believing and Prayer

Prayer and believing is rather important. I have no idea how many families have fallen apart because of non-communication. We need to take the time to sit down and talk and listen. Wives, husbands, children and even loved ones. We do not communicate.

Prayer is found in the Bible
184 time in (NKJV)
154 times in (NIV)
128 times in (KJV)
156 times in (AMP) So I think it is OK to say PRAYER is important and so is BELIEVING.

We older ones need to learn some of the new ways of communications and some of the younger ones need to learn some of the older ways of communication. Like talking. We all need to hear (not see) sometimes I LOVE YOU. Let us tell each member of our families today that we love them and I do mean say it to them. Prayer and believing do start right here…

Mark 11:24 (NIV) Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. This scripture says to ask in prayer and believing you have received. The keywords, are BELIEVE and RECEIVE not might or should YOU HAVE. How many times have we asked God for this or for that and then later ask him again for the same thing, I am guilty as charged myself. If we ask God believing He heard our prayers then what we need to do is then thank Him for the answer, it is prayer and receive

Asking again for the same thing is saying, Father, I do not think You heard me the first time or maybe You forgot so I am asking again. I remember I was in Church one Sunday night and we were praying for healings and I was going to pray for this young lady with a back problem. I asked her if anyone else had ever prayed for it before and she replied that only her and she was not sure if she had prayed right.

Out of nowhere I said to her (what I just said) that she would not ask again for the healing she would thank God for the healing no matter what happened was to thank Him for it.

As I started to pray I hear a sound like a shotgun, however, I just kept praying except I was thanking him for the healing. I finished praying opened my eyes and she was crying like a baby. When I asked her what was wrong she said I am healed it is gone there is no pain in my back at all. She said that was the first time that she had heard what I said about praying and she had repented of it and that was the sound I heard when she was healed.

How many times do we pray hoping not believing,

lLet us practice this truth and start believing in our Father. Let us thank Him for it and believe it is done.
