Expressing A Basic Truth, A Practical Precept

Proverbs 30:8-9 (NKJV) 8 Remove falsehood and lies far from me; Give me neither poverty nor riches—Feed me with the food allotted to me; 9 Lest I be full and deny You, And say, “Who is the Lord?” Or lest I be poor and steal, And profane the name of my God.

We are given Proverbs, I do believe, to understand life in general by expressing basic truths. I find it fascinating that there just happens to be a Proverb for each day of the month. If we would read the one for each day would it help us grow in our Faith?

Why don’t we try it and see one Chapter a day. Let us see if it addresses the problems we face that day or not. Proverbs 4. Solomon speaks of wisdom as a she. Which I find interesting, as he elaborates about wisdom.

Today being the 4th day of May I love how this chapter ends Proverbs 4:27 (NKJV) Do not turn to the right or the left; Remove your foot from evil. Our lord said the same thing in Joshua about crossing the river. Joshua 1:7 (NIV) “Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go.

Do not turn or look to the right or the left, otherwise look straight ahead, keep your eyes on our Father and we shall be successful in what we do… How about we give it a try let us read a Proverb a day and see if it works for us.

Thank you for reading and may God bless and be with you and watch over you. I pray that we can And let us understand, by expressing a basic truth, it is time for us to BLESS GOD…
