The Flock And The Holy Spirit, As A Shepherd What Do I Do.

The Flock And The Holy Spirit, As A Shepherd What Do I Do.

The Flock and the Shepherd… In the days we read about in the Bible being a Shepherd was not the most wanted job. David was a Shepherd and he was out on the back 40 watching over the sheep away from and actually forgot about. However David was learning to be his Lords man.

Acts 20:28 (MEV) Therefore take heed to yourselves and to the entire flock, over which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.

The Flock and the Shepherd, forgotten and the Lords man. How can I say that well 1 Samuel 16:11 Samuel asked Jesse if he had any more sons and it was like the forgot, yes there is David he watching over the flock of sheep. Sometimes the smallest is the best it seems in Gods world.

Again we find scripture where we read, in fact the only time we read this statement is in 1 Samuel 13:14,Acts 13:22, A man after Gods own heart. So as I have been given this flock to watch over I pray that one day I will hear “Well do my good and faithful servant”

Memory Verse June 16, 2018

Samuel 16:12 (MEV) 12 So he sent and brought him in. Now he was ruddy with beautiful eyes and a good appearance. And the Lord said, “Arise, anoint him, for this is he.”
