Freedom in Christ

Galatians 5: 1-6 Is entitled “Freedom in Christ”
1 It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. 2 Mark my words! I, Paul, tell you that if you let yourselves be circumcised, Christ will be of no value to you at all. 3 Again I declare to every man who lets himself be circumcised that he is obligated to obey the whole law. 4 You who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace. 5 For through the Spirit we eagerly await by faith the righteousness for which we hope. 6 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.
I would like to look at two verses 5 and 6 and this time I am going to us the Amplified version
5 In [this] freedom Christ has made us free [and completely liberated us]; stand fast then, and do not be hampered and held ensnared and submit again to a yoke of slavery [which you have once put off].
6 For [if we are] in Christ Jesus, neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything, but only faith activated and energized and expressed and working through love.
In this FREEDOM we are completely, absolutely, altogether, comprehensively, effectively, finally, fully, perfectly, quite. thoroughly, totally, ultimately, unconditionally, utterly, wholly FREE. We need to learn to accept that if you have accepted Jesus Christ and what he has done for you then you are COMPLETELY FREE! Everything about the Christian walk is based on FAITH. We are saved by grace through FAITH.
So we can not earn it, we do not have to work for it, God loves us just as we are and with him in us as we grow we change and become what He desires. so I have a challenge for everyone today. Let us try spending an hour without worry. Then go for two and on and on. If one slips say at four hours then just start over at 4 hours. Let us become the example of worry free, born again, Christians and let us be the Light…

If the Son sets you free then you are free indeed. We accepted him by faith and not under the law!!
