We are born in a womb with water, thus, when a baby is born it is coming into this world with the start of a new beginning after breaking forth through the womb. When we get baptized we are born again and start a breakthrough, (new beginning) through Christ, as we are baptized in water.
Our God is a god of Second Chances. Scripture is filled with examples of God giving people the opportunity to start fresh in life. Jonah was a disobedient Prophet, Moses was a murderer, David was an adulterer, the deceiver, and co-conspirator in Murder, the prodigal son was greedy and disrespectful, Mark was a quitter, Peter was fearful and a liar, Timothy was timid, and the list goes on. If you have ever been forgiven, then you can add your name to the list. God gives unlimited opportunities for us to continue growing. 2 Peter 3:18 (NKJV) but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen.
