The Works of the Flesh are Evident to All
The works of the flesh are everywhere in this world today. It surrounds us where ever we are it is hard not to get entangled in it, the enemy, the defeated one, is running wild.

Galatians 5:19-21 (NKJV) 19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
There are even churches that are full of it. There was a song back in the 70’s that had a line it that describes it very well. There is this thing called religion and they show no faith at all the go to church on Sunday and forget it all on Monday. That sort of describes America. I think it was Billy Graham that said, “The problem with American Christians is no one is threatening to kill them”. That is at our door, I will leave this devotional with a fact we are to live a separate life separate from the world.
Let us look at Galatians 5:22-26 (NKJV) 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentlenesses, self-control. Against such, there is no law. 24 And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. 26 Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.
