Greater Things We Will Do

OK here we go I have put this off as long as I can. However with what is going on in the world today I thing it is time. I did not write this it came from the Holy Bible and I am only reporting it, so here goes. I wish to make this very clear I believe in God, Jesus and The Holy Spirit, and I am not trying to put anyone down. What I wish is that we stop with the bickering
If anyone needs to read it again and get ready. This is to me as well and I will tell the story. The whole complete story. [The Word Became Human] In the beginning, the Word was already there. The Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. All things were made through him. Nothing that has been made was made without him. … (BibleGateway NIRV) Just so we are all on the same page.
So with that said here we go John 14:12 (AMP) I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, if anyone steadfastly believes in Me, he will himself be able to do the things that I do; and he will do even greater things than these, because I go to the Father.
I assure you, ASSURE: to make (something) certain to tell someone in a very strong and definite way that something will happen or that something is true. MOST: greatest in quantity, extent, or degree. SOLEMNLY: very serious or formal in manner, behavior, or expression. STEADFASTLY: very devoted or loyal to a person, belief, or cause : not changing.
Now let us read that scripture, Jesus is talking and His words are certain, definite and true. They are the greatest in quantity, extent. He is very serious or formal in manner. Then He tells us if anyone that is very devoted or loyal not changing in our belief. Will be able to do the things that He did and we will do even greater thing than what he did. Why, because He went to the Father, so greater thing we will do is said to us all. I believe the Church in America has fallen short big time.
It seems pretty simple to me and I do not see it happening. I see some Pastors doing some healing. I hear send in your offering and trust God to meet your needs, and I say practice what you preach. What we need today is some real God-fearing, Jesus loving Christians.
I believe this is what we are in right now and have been for a while. I have searched the Bible and I can not find the word Denomination in it nor can I find the different denominations either. However I do remember a saying in America that was “United We Stand, divided we fall” and are we Christians divided as well? That answer is yes we are, lets see. We live in Central AZ and in the phone book I can find 40 different denominations in this area and I am sure if I was in Phoenix there would be even more. 40 different ideal of what God is saying and most disagreeing with other about how to love God or work with the Holy Spirit, Let me let you in on a secret NONE of us have it all right. So what we need to do is stop the fighting and disagreeing and come together and serve a living God as one body or as one Church.
I believe that if we pulled together and stopped all the bickering and disagreeing that we could win any battle or conflict. Jesus never talked to a denomination He talked to the Church, and I am not talking about a building I am talking about the people. We are the Church not the building we find this in For Matthew 18: 20 (AMP) 20 wherever two or three are gathered (drawn together as My followers) in (into) My name, there I Am in the midst of them. He is not in the building we bring Him to the building our part of God. The scripture speaks very clearly about the different parts of the body. Galatians 3:28 (AMP) 28 There is [now no distinction] neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is not male [a]and female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
We are all ONE in Christ can it be any clearer. Romans 12:4 – 5 (NIRV) 4 Each of us has one body with many parts. And the parts do not all have the same purpose. 5 So also we are many persons. But in Christ we are one body. And each part of the body belongs to all the other parts. Our immortal body has many different parts however it is still just one body. A hang nail is a part of a body so we need to stop with the garbage and be one body in Christ and work together for the Glory of God…
