Honoring Our Father With Lip Service Is Not Honoring

Honoring Our Father is more that saying “I am a Christian”! Again this line from a song comes to me and it is “Your walk talks a much louder than your talk talks!” It is true we can stand and preach for hours and walk away and in a few steps destroy everything that was said.

Reading for today Isaiah 29, I am going to use two verses today from Isaiah 29 and that will be verse 13 and 14.
Isaiah 29:13-14 (NKJV) 13 Therefore the Lord said:
“Inasmuch as these people draw near with their mouths and honor Me with their lips, but have removed their hearts far from Me, and their fear toward Me is taught by the commandment of men, 14 Therefore, behold, I will again do a marvelous work among this people, a marvelous work and a wonder; for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hidden.”

These are some harsh words in Isiah 29 from the Lord. Yes directly from our Lord. He is talking about what I call C and E Christians, Christmas and Easter Christians, and Sunday Morning Christians. I do, and feel the Lord does to, things happen and we can not be there all the time. However there are many Sunday morning Christians.

Attending Church on Sunday and forgetting it all on Monday is not a Christian. We are to come out from amongst them (the world) and be separate. The scripture is very clear about it honoring Him with their LIPS but taking away their HEARTS from the Lord.

The next line gives me shivers “ their fear toward Me is taught by the COMMANDMENT OF MEN”. Yep that is what it says, in some churches God has been removed, because we do not wish to upset anyone. Well I could care less. Sin is sin, Jesus SHED HIS BLOOD so that we could be SAVED. And if one does not believe that and live TOTALLY for the Lord. They are not saved!

These preachers that are lying to keep the money rolling is is about to get the shock of their lives for the Lord has said He will do a MARVELOUS work among the PEOPLE, and these wise me shall PERISH. Their understanding of their PRUDENT MEN (discreet or cautious in managing one’s activities; circumspect) shall be HIDDEN…

The time is coming when the TRUTH will come out and man will fall. Again we are told to study to show ourselves approved RIGHTLY dividing the word. I have said this over and over if there is a RIGHTLY way then that tells me there is also a WRONGLY way of dividing the word…
