Husbands Love Your Wives As Christ First Loved The Church

Ephesians 5:25-28 (MEV)
25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for it, 26 that He might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 27 and that He might present to Himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing, but that it should be holy and without blemish. 28 In this way men ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself.
As I read this scripture the first thing that hit me was loving our wives as Christ loved the Church. How much did He love the Church? So much that he died on a cross for it. Are you willing to be that devoted?
There is not bounders nor is there any ifs there. Love them PERIOD! Then once that is done we also read in

Ephesians 5:25 Not talking about bondage or mistreating them it is not spelled DOOR MAT either. Loving ones wife is to take care of and being the man being the Prayer Leader in the home.

Being submissive is not about mistreating it is about him being the head as Christ was the Head of the Church, willing to lay down His life for the Church…
The family has been changed by the world or I should say our enemy the devil. It has been turned upside down. It is the enemy stealing, killing and destroying. It is the enemy ruling not God. It is time for men to stand up and be courageous and strong.
