Morning Prayer For Wednesday February 20, 2019

Morning Prayer is fuel to start a day!
Proverbs 20:7 (MEV) The just man walks in his integrity;
his children are blessed after him.

Something I have noticed when you are in church and take a look around and count the women and men. I have found that there are more women than men. That bothers me, why does it bother me? Well first let me say this, the Bible talks about Genesis 2:18 (MEV) Then the Lord God said, “It is not good that the man should be alone. I will make him a helper suitable for him.”

I am not about to start picking on women, however, I am going to start in on men. Go back and read do a search on help mate or helper and see what it says. Helper or help mate is not spelled DOOR MAT. A Christian man will be the head of his household.

If then a head one needs to be the head. The Bible is full of information on being a good husband. I wonder where we would be if men were what our Father God would like us to be. Watching a Christian Family in church or in a restaurant. Is a blessing to my soul. Why because you can see the love flowing from them.

I am sorry for all the miss information that is put out by our enemy the devil and people are eating it up. It is time for Christian men… It is time for men to accept their roll in life. You know I, as a child, never walked into an empty home when I came home from school. My mom was there and she was there for me until I was 15.

Then she went to Beauty School and ones she was a Licensed Hair Dresser my dad and I remodeled a shop for her and she was in business and that was what she did. My dad understood his role as a man and he did it. Did we have a big fancy home NO, but it was a home and nice and clean. We sat at a table and ate we did not sit in the living room with a folding TV table eating.

The enemy has and is destroying the family. Watch TV and see men at home taking care of the kids and cleaning and the wife is the bread winner. Sorry that is not the way it is suppose to be. Again I am not picking on women, however, I am picking on men.

I believe if we got back to living I think we would find that a family does not need a big expensive home and a new car and expensive clothing. What they need is raising! A mom to be a mom and I think they would be happy with a 2 or 3 year old car and a mom home that loved them and takes care of them.

And a dad that supports and leads the family. It is time for men in America to become MEN and support their families. I did not do it right either but I know now what I did wrong and am not going to allow it to happen again.

Jesus is the head of the Church, and I am not talking about a building, I am talking about the people in that building. I am talking about us as men being the head of our families. We are told about how to do it in the Bible.

Genesis 2:18 (MEV) Then the Lord God said, “It is not good that the man should be alone. I will make him a helper suitable for him.”

Ephesians 5:25-32 (MEV)

25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for it, 26 that He might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 27 and that He might present to Himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing, but that it should be holy and without blemish. 28 In this way men ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. 29 For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as the Lord cares for the church. 30 For we are members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones. 31 “For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and shall be joined to his wife, and the two shall be one flesh.” 32 This is a great mystery, but I am speaking about Christ and the church.

Hebrews 13:5 (MEV) 5 Let your lives be without love of money, and be content with the things you have. For He has said:
“I will never leave you, nor forsake you.”
Deuteronomy 31:6 (MEV) Be strong and of a good courage. Fear not, nor be afraid of them, for the Lord your God, it is He who goes with you. He will not fail you, nor forsake you.”
Deuteronomy 31:8 (MEV) 8 The Lord, He goes before you. He will be with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you. Do not fear, nor be dismayed.
Joshua 1:5 (MEV) No man will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, I will be with you. I will not abandon you. I will not leave you.

Genesis 2:21-24 (MEV)

21 So the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall on Adam, and he slept. Then He took one of his ribs and closed up the place with flesh. 22 Then the rib which the Lord God had taken from man, He made into a woman, and He brought her to the man.
23 Then Adam said, “This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she will be called Woman, for she was taken out of Man.”
24 Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother and be joined to his wife, and they will become one flesh.

We need to be strong men and women in Christ. This is not about women who’s mate is not there and they have a family to take care of. It is about men with families and being a man. I have seen both sides of this coin and I am sorry about divorces and deaths and disabilities. This is about men being men. We all could learn from the Bible and should learn from it. I now pray this all in the mighty and wonderful name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior–AMEN!
