Ephesians 5:1 (MEV) Therefore be imitators of God as beloved children.

Has anyone else ever felt like the Lord hits you right between the eyes with a scripture? As I turned to and read this it was like it was just added to the Bible (knowing it wasn’t). Gina and I were talking about this last night. How many times have I just read this and moved on?

Imitators To follow or endeavor to follow as a model To mimic; impersonate, to make a copy of; reproduce closely, to have or assume the appearance of; simulate; resemble.

I started thinking and remembering the scriptures I thought back to Matthew 28:18, Romans 8:17, Galatians 4:6–7, Hebrews 5:5. We are joint heirs with Jesus we are Children of the King of kings and the Lord of lords. Stop right here, stop reading close your eyes and really think about what you have just read.

Next, let us go back and read Ephesians 4:31-32 (MEV) 31 Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outbursts, and blasphemies, with all malice, be taken away from you. 32 And be kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God in Christ also forgave you.
