Jesus Crucifixion Was For All

Jesus was crucified for ALL our sins. It tells us that in John 3:16 (ESV) ” God so loved the world that He gave His one & only son, that WHOSOEVER (means ALL) believes in Him, would not perish, but have eternal life.

Jesus was called a LIAR, He was slapped & spit on(which is such a huge insult) He was beat unrecognizable, He was degraded, He was mocked about being a king, when they pushed the crown of thorns into his head, then He was nailed & hung on a tree. Galatians 3:13 (ESV) ” Christ took away the curse the law put on us. He changed places & put himself under the curse. It is written in the scriptures ‘ anyone whose body is displayed on a tree is cursed’ “.

REPENT= an Action or Omission , with deep regret or remorse.
To repent of your sins means to never want to sin any more. It doesn’t mean that we won’t sin anymore, but now that you are a new creature in Christ, you will repent of it as soon as you DO it.

When we go to an altar call or just pray with someone, & accept Jesus as our Lord & Savior ,we are emptying [repenting] cleansing ourselves of all our sins. We are shedding the sin. Just as Jesus did it on the cross. When we ask God into our hearts, we are saying that we are dedicating our lives to him. We are opening our hearts to God & Jesus.

When we confess our sins [repent], then do not follow through with the acceptance of God in our lives, then we are making a mockery of who God really is. As we find in If we tell people that we are Christians & continue to do the things that God calls sin, then you are saying that is what God is about. You are misleading others & their blood , along with your own, is upon your hands. YOU will have to stand accountable for it. Galatians 2:20-21 (ESV) 20 I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. 21 I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness [justification] were through the law, then Christ died for no purpose.

John 3:17 (ESV) 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. God did not send his son, Jesus to die on the cross JUST for some of us, He sent Jesus to die for ALL. It is our own choice how our END will be. Life is short, HOW ARE GOING TO END YOUR LIFE? I would rather take a chance to know God , than to take the chance of not believing in God & find out the hard way, when I am standing in front of Him & do not have. ANY more chances left to repent & accept HIM. I have heard a saying, ” I would rather have Jesus, & not need Him, then to not have Him & need Him.

Memory Verse for January 1, 2015

John 3:16 (ESV) “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

It hurts me to think he had to go through all the things he had to go through just to save me and I haven’t slightest idea how horrible it had to be. But I am so thankful he didnt give up on me!!!!

    1. The greater thought Gina is he did not have to (in speaking) He chose to go through it when He prayed not my will, but Your will Father…
