Philippians 2:14-16 (NASB)

14 Do all things without grumbling or disputing; 15 so that you will prove yourselves to be blameless and innocent, children of God above reproach in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you appear as lights in the world, 16 holding fast the word of life, so that in the day of Christ I will have reason to glory because I did not run in vain nor toil in vain.

The Attitude Of The Christian

Why Should We Do This?

Philippians 2:15a so that you will prove yourselves to be blameless and innocent, children of God above reproach

To Who Are We Proving This?

Philippians 2:15b crooked and perverse generation

Why Do We Do This

Philippians 2:15c among whom you appear as lights in the world.

Being a Christian is more than going to a building 1,2 or even 3 times a week. We are to be and example to the world of a better life than what they have here on earth. Showing them that all this stuff is just that and none of it is worth price they will pay for it.

It is time for Christians to become all that our Lord and Savior died for. Are we showing the world a life they would like to have or are we slipping into there hole..
