Being a Christian is loving God period. No matter what happens or goes on, our Father is never changing He is the same yesterday, today and forever. We can not say we love God then doubt Him, We can not say we love God and live like the world…

James 1:12-15 (NKJV) 12 Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. 13 Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone. 14 But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. 15 Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.
Temptation comes when we turn away for our Father and chase after our on fleshly desires. We can not live like the world and say we are Christians. To say we were tempted by our Father or the Lord is saying that they are of the evil one. Our Father can not be tempted.
Remember when Jesus spent 40 days in the wilderness and when He returned who was there to meet Him? Of coarse the enemy and 3 times he tempted Jesus and 3 time Jesus quoted God’s words back at him. That is what we must do as well. Be ready for a temptation around every corner.
I think we need to remember the Boy Scouts memo “Be Prepared” all the time for the enemy is out there looking to catch us off guard as we read in 1 Peter 5:8 (NKJV) Be [self-controlled]sober, be [watchful]vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
I pray today that this can and will help others become stronger Christians and grown in our Lord’s love for us. I now pray this all in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior—AMEN!
