Where Is Your Heart? There Is Where Your Treasures Are!

Where is your heart? Are we living for the things here on earth or are we lying up treasures in Heaven?
We as Christians should be working toward Heaven we should be telling everyone about Jesus and what He has done for us…

Matthew 6:19-21 (NKJV) 19 “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; 20 but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

I am sure that everyone has read these scriptures at least once however as I was reading it this morning the part that stuck and rolled around was verse 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Thus the question where is your heart?

I want to talk about this, and use myself as the example. Sense 1986 I have had this burden on my heart for “Abounding Love Ministries Worldwide”, however it was just that a burden. I tried to do what I thought was right however it did not work out. It flourished for a season and then wilted. So I, sort of, let it lay. I put it away and went on with my life. Putting it a better way I got out of Gods way and he went to work. In September of 2014 I was given an idea to start a group for Abounding Love Ministries Worldwide.

I turned it over to God and this is what has come from it. Something that I never dreamed of or would have ever thought of. We have two groups ALMs, TPO, and BRF, “Abounding Love Ministries Worldwide” “The Prayer Outreach” and “Blessed, Redeemed, and Forgiven” on Facebook. I have been blessed more than anyone can imagine. The people, our members, are awesome and such a blessing.

What is different now from 1986 when it started. I am out-of-the-way it belongs to God. He gets all the credit and praise. I am a tool in His tool box that He has chosen to use. Where is my treasure, it is being stored up in heaven. That is what I am hoping for each one of you is that we all get our minds and hearts out of or off of things of this world and get them on Heavenly things… Where is your heart?
