Loving God Loving People

Loving God, Loving people is what we at ALMs is all about this is the Commandment of Jesus that we should Love God and love people.  This the mission of all Christians we are to love.  Correcting someone is not judging using scripture is showing someone the error of their way.  People who have no idea what the Scripture says through that judging thin around when they fell guilty about what they are doing.  We are to love god and love people. that is our duty.

II Peter 2:1-3 (NRSB) 1 But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive opinions. They will even deny the Master who bought them—bringing swift destruction on themselves. 2 Even so, many will follow their licentious ways, and because of these teachers[a] the way of truth will be maligned. 3 And in their greed they will exploit you with deceptive words. Their condemnation, pronounced against them long ago, has not been idle, and their destruction is not asleep.

Well Peter was right America is full of these false prophets, they look like the real thing they talk like the real thing, except, if you listen to them there is some things they do not talk about. They do not talk about: 1. The blood of Jesus. 2 They do not have an Alter Call. 3 Most do not even have an altar. 4 They only speak of good things in the Bible.

It is like going to a horror movie and leaving out the horror. They say they do not wish to irritate the members or scare them off. Most drive around in expensive cars, wear expensive suits and expensive things like $35,000 watches etc. Their God is things. The point is that they will destroy themselves. They will lie to their followers and they will drag others down with them. Their God is worldly things. I am not saying that they do not need things. For example a $500 watch, if one just feels they needed it, would leave $34,500 to use to feed the hungry or on winning souls.

So let us go by to 2 Peter 1:3-8 (NRSV) 3 His divine power has given us everything needed for life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us by[d] his own glory and goodness. 4 Thus he has given us, through these things, his precious and very great promises, so that through them you may escape from the corruption that is in the world because of lust, and may become participants of the divine nature. 5 For this very reason, you must make every effort to support your faith with goodness, and goodness with knowledge, 6 and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with endurance, and endurance with godliness, 7 and godliness with mutual[e] affection, and mutual[f] affection with love. 8 For if these things are yours and are increasing among you, they keep you from being ineffective and unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
