Loving the Lord is not a part-time thing it is something we do all the time completely. We run into problems all the time because we are trying to fix or do it ourselves. We know better however we still try to do it without His help.

Deuteronomy 6:5 (NKJV) You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.

I found that statement “Love the Lord” 21 times and I am sure there are more. My question is do we think it is important? Does He desire that we LOVE him? I did not try to count how many times it says He loves us.

I wonder if maybe that is why the divorce rate is so high are we actually loving the one we are with? Or is it just a part time thing. This is not something that one does for a while. It is a full time thing good, bad, indifferent, ALL the time 24/7.

I learned it the hard way, trust me. It took a long time for me to wake up and do what is right. We and I mean all of us are not perfect but when we use the word LOVE we might just need to stop and look around. Do we really love that person? Stop and think about how much Jesus loved us or the Father loved us…

Are we actually willing to die for that person we say we love? Are you willing to lay down your life for that person. Jesus did before we where even born He died so that we might live. How can anyone turn their back on that kind of love?

John 3:16-17 (NKJV) 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. That is the LOVE I am talking about…

Then we find this—the real problem in the world John 3:18-19 (NKJV) 18 “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

Let us stop and think about what has been said in these four verses.

Thank you for reading and may God bless and be with you and watch over you. And let us understand, it is time for us to BLESS GOD… This Ministry is supported with and by your love offerings, please consider helping us to spread the Gospel around the world.

John 3:20 (NKJV) For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed.
