Today’s Scripture

John 8:44 (MEV) You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks from his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

The Problem

I feel sometimes that we get so wrapped up in his lies that we can not see the truth. The reason I say that is John 8:44 (MEV) You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks from his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

Understanding His Lies

He can not, and I repeat can not remove us from Heaven what he can steal, kill and destroy is our spirit to do what our Father has called us to do and be. He can not remove us from Heaven however he can stop us from being ALL that our Father desires us to be, by lying to us and shutting us up.

He has a couple titles they are not his name they are titles. First we have satan meaning the accuser and that is what he does by lying to us and telling us we are not doing our Fathers well or be what our Father wishes us to be. He accuses us of being lazy and not good enough.

So what do we do we stop or shut up and try to find out what we are doing wrong. Which was nothing we just started listening to his lies. Then we start worrying about that and stop being a witness.

Then we have the title devil meaning the slanderer. He is constantly telling us we are not good enough and we are not doing what we should be doing and our Father is mad at us and has rejected us. I have one question for you… Did he ever once tell you that you were going to hell before you got saved? No, for he already had you.

So if he is the liar and the father of them then when he tells you that you can know you are on the right path and he is trying to SHUT YOU UP. Do not listen to his lies or his tricks if and when you slip and fall into his trap. Just remember the Holy Spirit, Jesus and our Father is right there to cover and protect you…

Let us be all that our Father has called us to be and let our walk be a reflection of what Jesus did for us all. Let everyone see Jesus in us and through us.
