Lying is lying however when one lies to the Holy Spirit we read in Acts chapter 5 what happens. This chapter is devoted to Ananias, and his wife Sapphira, and what happened to them when they lied about how much he received for the land they sold and what happened.

As I read this I thought about a couple things. The first was I wondered what would happen if this happened today. And people got to see the real power of the Holy Spirit and if one lied what would happen. Would the Church straighten up then? Or would it continue in its direction it is heading.

The Holy Spirit told Peter I do believe, how much Ananias sold the land for and he lied about it and was killed for lying. Then his wife walked in, knowing what happened to her husband lied also. What would happen today in the church if at alter call someone was questioned about what they had confessed.

What would happen if the Holy Spirit spoke to the Pastor and told him the truth about what happened. Would said person tell the truth or would they lie. Sometimes the truth is hard to confess I am not talking about a few dollars here. I am talking about life and some of the things that go on right in the church.

I followed a man for years that was doing the Lords work and was given a new home for the ones that gave it said they had built it for themselves and the Lord said for them to give it to him and his family. He gave the home to his family and divorced his wife and married his secretary.

Now that does not sound like what happened in Acts 5 but it is. See the home was given to him and his family however a hidden relationship was brought forth with the gift. A sin had been happening in the middle of this quote unquote great Christian man. Sin is sin no matter how big or small, in our eyes, it is…

I believe there is no weight scale for sin with our Father all sin weighs the same. There is no big or little sin with our Father, sin is sin period. We can hide our sins from man but not from our Father nor the Holy Spirit nor Jesus… Just one question, did Ananias or Sapphira make it to Heaven? Think about it and maybe some confessing should happen.

Thank you for reading and may God bless and be with you and watch over you. And let us understand, it is time for us to BLESS GOD…  This Ministry is supported with and by your love offerings, please consider helping us to spread the Gospel around the world.
