The Word Is Near, In Your Mouth And Heart

The Word do we actually understand this or is it a mystery? Jesus is the Word He died so that we could go to Heaven. I believe in some places today that our Father and Jesus has been removed. They are building church buildings with no Alters, they do not speak of the shed blood of Jesus. They are allowing homosexual men and women to be ordained.

Romans 10:5-12 (NKJV) 5 For Moses writes about the righteousness which is of the law, “The man who does those things shall live by them.” 6 But the righteousness of faith speaks in this way, “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’ ” (that is, to bring Christ down from above) 7 or, “ ‘Who will descend into the abyss?’ ” (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). 8 But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” 12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him.

As I read this scripture a couple things stuck out to me “the word is near you, in your mouth and your heart.” And then “with the Heart one believes and with the mouth one confesses.” I have heard and seen so many that have so much knowledge that is brain knowledge, and the heart is as cold as a block of ice and hard as a rock. God has been removed for the all mighty dollar.

The enemy has painted hell as a pretty picture, and there are many, in today’s world, that have swallowed it hook, line and sinker. They have forsaken God for money and it has become their god. I am not here to spit on them nor condemn them that is our Fathers duty.

In fact I pray for repentance for them. Our Pastor spoke last Sunday evening on Loving our enemies and doing good to those that despise you. Do we really love those who hate us or despise us. Would we actually do good to them if we could. Would we give them our coat. Or the shirt off our back? Would we spend our last dollar to buy our enemy a meal?

Well that is what the scripture says we should do. Don’t worry about what we have or do not have. If we have to worry about something, worry about those lost souls going to hell. I know I get so wrapped up in wants as if they were needs and do not see the needs of others. I am as guilty as anyone here of it and I know it.

The scripture does not say “if you believe in your BRAIN” it says “if you believe in your HEART and confess with your mouth you will be saved.” The door that Jesus is standing at in Revelation 3:20 is between the brain and the heart.

He is desiring that we open our hearts and let Him in and live according to Him.. Thank you for reading and may God bless and be with you and watch over you.
