Meditate on These Things Do We

Meditate, do we really or is it a short little pray that we hope He hears and we get upset when it does not go our way… Did we really meditate on it or just sort of spit it out and hope it sticks? I feel to many take prayer for granted, it is done out of duty not love… He loved us so much He gave His ONLY BEGOTTEN SON so that we might spend Eternity with Him…

Today’s Scripture

Philippians 4:8-9 (NKJV) 8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. 9 The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.

Are We Practicing Our Walk

Do we actually read and study the word. I work at it every day. Making mistakes with thoughts and words. Getting better and hope to keep on. Do I love our Lord? Yes, I do and yes I slip up every day however I am reminded of it by the Holy Spirit and I repent instantly.

I pray we all grow daily with His word it would be nice if we could grab hold of what Paul is saying here whatever is TRUE, NOBLE, JUST, PURE, LOVELY, GOOD REPORT—there is a list that is something to carry around and work at living up to. Let us all grow closer to our Father, our Lord today let us be who we are to be.

Can we honestly say verse 9 letting this things be seen through us those we have LEARNED, RECEIVED, HEARD AND SAW? For if so we have peace with our Father in Heaven…
