The Roman Solders Of Biblical Time, Are They The American Soldier of Today

Psalm 2:1-3 (NKJV) 1 Why do the [Gentiles]nations [throng tumultuously]rage, And the people plot a [worthless or empty]vain thing? 2 The kings of the earth set themselves, And the rulers take counsel together, Against the Lord and against His Anointed,[Christ, Commissioned One, Heb.Messiah] saying, 3 “Let us break Their bonds in pieces And cast away Their cords from us.”
Could that be what is happening Father? America it seems is trying to take over the world. That is why we have troops around the world helping countries against other rulers. Lord, I ask You today to show me if this is so. I woke up this morning with this thought in the back of my mind and then when I read Psalms 2 there it was.
Reading Proverbs 2:1-5 (NKJV) 1 My son, if you receive my words, And treasure my commands within you, 2 So that you incline your ear to wisdom, And apply your heart to understanding; 3 Yes, if you cry out for discernment, And lift up your voice for understanding, 4 If you seek her as silver, And search for her as for hidden treasures; 5 Then you will understand the fear of the Lord, And find the knowledge of God.
Lord I read that 80% of Congress claim to be Christians but what they say and do points in 2 different directions. I do not desire to be misleading, but, it does seem to be so. It also seems I have read some where that HISTROY repeats itself.
We are handing money out to countries and we are in debt ourselves. We are spending money we do not have to take care of countries that can not or will not take care of themselves. Is there a similar plan of America to become the Romans of yesterday. Are we giving others money and stuff so they well be [as one might say] under our thumb.
I read that back in the Biblical Days the Romans could make the Israelite’s carry their baggage for a mile and You told them to carry it for two miles. That way they would get into trouble with their rulers for allowing them to do so…
You even had a plan back then and it still holds true today. I would be like the countries we are defending are in debt to us for saving them. What we are actually doing is saving them from themselves. Wrapping, what we are doing, as a gift to later use it for ourselves against them.
Lord is this from You today or am I reading things into what I see? Is this a WORD from You to those that read this or is it my mind running wild here? Please let me hear from the Holy Spirit I do not desire to be misleading for my own good…
You gave me this Ministry for a REASON that I do know and I BELIVE. I desire to do Your will here not my will. I do not wish to be misleading, but, You said, about David, that he was a man after Your HEART, and that is where I read this was in the book of Psalms.
As I write I work to listen to Your directions and I do not wish it to be my directions but Yours. I do believe also that we have the enemy in our own camps, claiming to be of You but slipping their own agenda into our beliefs systems I do believe. So if this is true then let it be. In the PRECIOUS and WONDERFUL name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior I do pray this—AMEN!
