MORNING PRAYER and DEVOTIONAL for APRIL 30, 2020

Psalm 92:4 (NKJV) For You, Lord, have made me glad through Your work; I will triumph in the works of Your hands.

Lord without You we can do nothing WORTHY of Your LOVE. Our Grace comes from our Faith in You. We are dependent upon You Father. We are Your children because we asked You for forgiveness. You have GIVEN us Your Grace if we accept You and trust You.

Proverbs 30:3-4 (NKJV) 3 I neither learned wisdom nor have knowledge of the Holy One. 4 Who has ascended into heaven, or descended? Who has gathered the wind in His fists? Who has bound the waters in a garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is His name, and what is His Son’s name, If you know?

Without Jesus and what He did by dying on that CROSS, being placed in that borrowed TOMB and then RISING and WALKING out of that Tomb and then ascending up to set at Your right hand interceding for us to You.

We have been GIVEN that GRACE through our FAITH in You according to Ephesians 2:8-9 (NKJV) 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast. We could not earn it by WORKS Jesus had to DIE on that cross so we could receive Your Grace.

The 3 WORDS we need to UNDERSTAND and TRUST in are the last 3 words that came out of His mouth when He died “IT IS FINISHED”! He died so that we might LIVE. Then one day we will be called up to live with YOU for ETERNITY.

So I pray today that we LEARN and UNDERSTAND what He did for us. Not only understand what but why He had to die for us for us to be saved. Because we could not earn it because we could never be able to work our way to HEAVEN.

I pray today that we really understand what Jesus did and why He had to do what He did, so we could, one day be with You in Heaven. We can not EARN it, for it is a FREE GIFT from You to us. This Devotional is written so we all can understand that we can not earn it we must accept it as a GIFT from You through the SHED BLOOD of Jesus Christ our Lord and Shepherd did for us. Because of Psalms 23, we can be covered and delivered to You in Heaven 1 day… In the Precious Name of JESUS CHRIST our Lord and our Shepherd I do pray this simple prayer—AMEN!
