I have tried to not talk about this PROBLEM and now I think it is time for something to be said. Some place in this PRAYER/DEVOTIONAL I am going to play a video and I pray that you will watch it and share it on your pages…

What is Good for the World IS NOT good for the Church–Christian Men and Modesty

Proverbs 22:6 (NKJV) Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.

Again, I am not talking about a building I am talking to and about Christians… I prayed and spoke with the Lord about this and I said if You DESIRE me to do this then You will give me the words to write and to pray…

And Psalm 115:16 and Proverbs 22:16 was given to me now that is the chapters that I would have used to take my morning prayer verse from so I am quite sure this is all from our Father. So here we go and it is going to take awhile for me to get through this subject…

I am going to start out with my past to let you see I have had FIRST HAND EXPERIENCE with the subject matter. I am 100% male and I know what goes on in most male minds. I know what most like to see and want to see. Well so does the enemy and he knows who has it.

We need to keep that statement in our minds as we read and pray about what is going on. I think I will start out with the video now… So please watch this and hear what is being said it may be by college students however it was written with wisdom and from the heart of true Christian Male College Students…

The thing that really got my attention in this was the statement to girls when you go shopping for clothes take your dad. Why would that be said, well I think it is a fact men know what men look for or at. I remember running sound in a small church as I thought back.

The Pastors wife was a sweet lady but she wore pants that looked like they were painted on. Where she sat was right in my line of vision to the platform and I could not help it, it was there. I finally told the Pastor that I thought I could hear better and see better from over on the other side and moved everything over.

It did make sense for the wires then ran along the wall and no one could get tangled up in them. The point was though that I did not have the authority I should have had over my eyes. That was the first time I thought about it and that is why I am writing about it now…

Today I see things that should not be done and most of it is in the clothing some wear. I was in a restaurant to have a breakfast and I sat at a table and this young lady came in and sat at a table right across from me, facing me. She sat down and I looked up and wished I had not. She had on a very short dress and nothing on under it. I had to pick up my food and move quickly.

I wanted to go talk to her and probably should have for before I had finished some guy ended up sitting across from her and shortly after they left together… I will leave it there. My point is the enemy knows us men very will and he knows what attracts us.

I am going to say this and I mean it. Ladies one does not have to dress in a way that attracts men to look for that arouses the wrong part of one. I mean I see attractive ladies every day and I think it is because of there heart that they are attractive not because of how little they have on.

Lord I pray that this will be taken as for the way it was given. I am not judging so please do not think of it that way. I pray that it will be received in the manner I wrote it in. I pray that it will be a blessing to others and help and strengthen us all. In the Wonderful name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior I do pray–AMEN!
