A couple weeks ago I decided I would try doing the Morning Prayer and the Daily Devotional together, I am asking you all to now comment on it to me please and let me know what you think.

Proverbs 23:9 (NKJV) Do not speak in the hearing of a fool, for he will despise the wisdom of your words.

I think sometimes we need to listen before we speak. The Holy Spirit is telling us what to do and we are not listening and end up in trouble. We have to understand that this life is a test, I believe, and we are learning and growing as we go through it.

Lord we are not as smart as we think we are nor are we as wise as You. We would like to believe we are but without the Holy Spirit to guide us we are like a feather in a storm. Without You directing us we will not let You shine through us…

I pray that I can get this house finished so I can and will spend more time writing and reading. Were I can grow in Your wisdom and knowledge. I do not understand the Bible totally and never will until I am home with You. I look at things that I say and do and sometimes wish I had shut my mouth and listened to Your direction.

Help us Lord to understand we need You in EVERYTHING we say or do we are nothing without You just some more wind to get lost in. We say we wish to serve You yet we make decisions on our own. Then we try to blame You when it falls apart. Do we thank You though when it goes right or we do the right thing?

I thank our Father for giving me the Pastor and his family to sit under and learn. He does not have the theological training that some does and he depends on You as they all should. Instead of being taught by man he is and has been taught by You.

When he accepted You as his savior I doubt he thought one day he would be a Preacher and Pastor a church. The one thing I know is he listened to and is listening to You know. Your wisdom flows through him when he speaks and his messages come from You out of his HEART.

In things of this world I am not rich, in fact not even close. However in Your blessings I am very wealthy. My Father has been good to me, in spite of me. I am sure some times he shakes His head and would like to wack me on the head, but He just loves me through it, and he will each of you as well if we will only let Him.

Now I am asking for you opinions of what I am doing you can write it in a private message or in an e-mail at Jym@almsww.us or a comment in Facebook. I just need to know how all of you are feeling about what s being said and how it is being done. Thank you in advance.

Let us be all of what we say we are. Let us be a witness of the LOVE of our Father and Jesus. Let us show the world our Gods love for them. Psalm 117:2 (NKJV) For His merciful kindness is great toward us, And the truth of the Lord endures forever. Let us show our Father’s love in all we say and do… I now pray this all in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior—AMEN!
